We live inside the city full of houses and buildings. Sometimes a breath of fresh air is hard to find specially with less trees around to produce them. That is why I suppose revenge travel is very popular now. But you don’t need to go far to find fresh air, there are still a few oasis in this concrete jungle we call Metro Manila. La Mesa Eco Park is one of them. Just a few minutes’ drive and you’ll find your self in the midst of nature. We went there just a few weeks ago just to get some fresh air and also to get a bit of exercise. Because of the pandemic they are open from 6 am to 12 pm during weekdays and 6 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm during weekends. We arrived there on a weekday at 7am and there were only a few people inside the park. Social distancing was not a problem. You are still required to wear a face mask, but you can remove for a while when no one is around. Twinkle enjoyed being outside, she really loves being able to play and run around while enjoying the fresh air. We walked around the park for a while, then played on the grass with the toys that we brought from home. It was nice to bond with the family while surrounded by big trees, it was refreshing. On a regular day I spent almost the entire day staring at the computer or my cellphone. It really was a good idea that we went to the park that day, it helped me gain the extra energy I needed. I just realized that I take for granted going outside because it is too hot, or I am just too lazy. Until I was forced to stay inside because of fear of the pandemic. It made me promise to myself to go outside and enjoy nature while I can.

A quick nature boost in the city! Kinda far to most places but keeping your heart rate up while breathing the fresh air is worth the trip
Having a nice place to relax and getting a wonderful view of nature that would be suited to Family bonding❤️
