The Old Grove Farmstead: Lipa, Batangas

Fresh air, vast open space, green trees, and colorful flowers. Hay sarap lumabas! After spending almost, the entire two years confined inside our house, finally we got our chance to enjoy the outside world. Our family went to The Old Grove Farmstead located in Lipa, Batangas a three hours’ drive from Caloocan. It was not my first time driving to Lipa, however I have never been to the place where we are going. Buti na lang madali lang hanapin sa Waze ung place. Smooth ung byahe naming all the way to Lipa, pero once we left the main road doon na medyo I had doubts if Waze were pointing us to the correct road, paliit ng paliit ung daan. But eventually we arrived, nasa dulo pala talaga sya ng road na un and that is the only way in and out of that place. Before going to the old grove farmstead you have to make a reservation, you can contact them on their FB page. After paying at the front desk, we went to the restaurant to eat lunch. They have a restaurant, swimming pool, playground, a pond full of ducks, a small barn where the sheep are kept, hanging bridge, Windmill, and a big red barn. We had lots of fun touring the place and just spending time with each other enjoying being outdoors.
