Is it just me or is this weather really peculiar? Just the other day the sun was shining without a cloud in sight. I decided to have our Ianne A (name of our car) washed. My “suking” car wash shop is just at the end of our street, really just couple of “tamblings” away. I was just parking Ianne A to the vacant spot inside the car wash shop when all of a sudden rain water started dropping slowly. What the F@#$(profanity)!!! The car wash boy just started to spray Ianne A with water when the rain really started to bring it all down. What was I to do but just let it be, I just thought about positive things in my life while waiting.
After that I decided to just wash Ianne A by myself for 2 reasons; 1. I can save money. 2. I can get the much needed exercise plus I will fell less awful even if it rains after I washed Ianne A.
I went to the DIY store to purchase a new Chamois. I already have all the other things I needed to wash Ianne A except for the Chamois. The lady in DIY informed me about a new Chamois that just recently launched in the market. And this is a review of my experience using the new Touring item Type S Super Chamois.
The first Chamois Type S has are the yellow ones. The Lady informed me that the difference was that this new Blue Chamois were cut smaller to allow more grip.
The first time I used the new Touring item Type S Super Chamois it was a bit of a struggle. The Chamois just keep sticking and refusing to move with my hand. I was wondering what I was doing wrong. On the second time I wash Ianne A I began to understand what I did wrong the first time. I did not read the direction, silly me. The Chamois needs to be prepped before using. You should soak it in water for at least 5 minutes before using and the target surface should be wet not semi wet. After that, I began to work the Chamois with ease.
The New Touring Item Type S Super Chamois are very absorbent once prepped. The size is just right for my hand. I can grip it well preventing me from dropping it.
You will notice that the Chamois will leave a bit of water trails but no need to worry. It is normal. You need to have a second dry cloth to use. I advice you use microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the paint.
After using the Chamois it is recommended that you keep it slightly damp and in a sealed container.
The new Touring Item Type S Super Chamois are great in drying our beloved cars. It is value for your money.
They have an ongoing promotion that when you buy one it comes with one more for free.
