Parking Spaces in Ortigas : Between Amethyst St. and Pearl Dr.

December 11, 2015 / Filed Under: Parking Spaces in the Metro

I have always been afraid of going to a place where finding a parking space could be hard. This places are usually places where you can find a lot of yuppies (I know, no one uses that word anymore). Ortigas in Pasig city is one of them. A couple of weeks ago,  my better half Peachy had to attend an event in Octagon center in Ortigas. She requested for me to be her chauffeur and I quickly agreed. With her I find it much easier to agree first, then ask questions later..heheh… if you know what I mean.

Getting to Octagon center is easy to find. There are a lot of apps out there that can show you the direction but there is no app, at least that I know of, that tells you where to park your car.

Using an app for direction, we ended up at the back side of the building. We found out that it was a blessing in disguise. It turns out that at the back of Octagon center are numerous parking spaces that makes it convenient for people going to and from the surrounding buildings.

One of which is this one the rate is not that expensive its 40 pesos for the first 2 hours then 10 pesos for the succeeding hours. The parking is guarded and maintained by people who are approachable and friendly.  It is an open area between two buildings then extends to the space besides a creek. There is minimal shade depends on which side you park and the position of the sun. But all in all it is an average parking space but the focal selling point of this parking space is the location. It is near Octagon center, Tycoon center, Pacific Center, Sciencestar Corp. and the Philippine Stock Exchange.

This parking space is located between Amethyst St. and Pearl Dr. and extends to the length of Pearl Dr. besides the creek.
