When you think about Tokyo Tokyo, the first thing that comes to your mind is?? For me it’s their Red Iced Tea. For my daughter, it’s the Beef Misono and Shrimp Tempura Sumo Meal which, of course, we share. But just recently Tokyo Tokyo has launched 2 new flavors of its Ramen family. Upholding and staying true to their custom of giving to their customers a unique but familiar Japanese cuisine taste but staying in the line’s value for money.
I was first brought to the world of Ramen by my favorite manga character, Naruto. Since then I always had this craving for Ramen whenever we go to a Japanese restaurant. Let me introduce you to my two new favorites: Spicy Pork Ramen, a perfect marriage of sweet and spicy flavors that lingers with a creamy pork broth that rounds up the flavor in your mouth. Sweetness comes from the corn and the glazed pork, the kick comes from the ground pork with a hint of shredded cabbage and spring onion. It is a perfect cheer you up meal for those gloomy days that you just need something to come home to and lift you up again;
And Chicken Teriyaki Ramen, made with delicious grilled chicken glazed with Tokyo Tokyo’s signature teriyaki sauce. It’s a combination of savory and sweet swimming in a bowl of authentic pork broth.
In line with this new Ramen flavors, Tokyo Tokyo also launched their first ever dessert bar. They plan to have this dessert bar in all of their branches soon. For now it is only available inside their new branch in Venice Piazza in Mckinley Hill. Venice Piazza is located in the heart of upper Mckinley so you will not miss it. They only have limited parking space, for extra parking you can go to the building next to it which has large parking space. Rate is not bad either.
The new desserts are: Japanese Matcha Cheesecake which you’ll definitely love if you love green tea. I love Matcha green tea that is why I can hover all day long on this cheesecake.
Decadent Hazelnut Crepe, light and sweet and peaches on the side this makes it a perfect combination with a freshly brewed Cafe Latte.
Dark Chocolate Mousse, Fruit Creme, and Lychee Jelly. Filipinos love sweets and having this new flavors available in their dessert bar gives their customer a chance to experience and end their sweet Japanese cravings.
Other desserts are Oreo Cookie Tempura Ala Mode, Croughnuts, and Japanese Pon De Ring. If you’re turning Japanese and cant wait to satisfy your cravings come visit them now.
