As a Daddy of two and a husband of one (just kidding Mahal). I often find myself in a situation that I have no idea where to find a secure and convenient place to park our car. Then just like that a light bulb moment. A blog that gives readers an idea where to find a parking space for your precious car. It is about places where I go mostly one example is in Quiapo Church.
We as a family make it a point to go to Quiapo church at least once a week. I started this solemn devotion to our Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno for the past 10 years. Now that we, as a family, go to fulfill our obligation, we need to take our car to go there. To be honest with you the first time we went to Quiapo using our car, I parked all the way out to Binondo. That is the only place I know where there’s a parking space which is safe and secure. We need to walk at least 500 meters and weave through traffic of Avenida just to go to the church.
After that I made it a point to find a much more closer parking space, near the church but still safe and secure. Then I found this parking space. The entrance is sometimes covered by vehicles that you might not notice it especially if it is Friday which is designated as Quiapo day.
How To Go There
If your coming from España, driving along Quezon Blvd., you need to pass by Quiapo church, do not take the Quezon bridge, keep to the right the road going under neat the bridge look to the right side you will find there a Mercury drug store, 3 to 4 stores after that is the parking space. It is big enough to accommodate 20 vehicles and it has a lot of manpower to guard the cars parked there, I could not say security guard because there is none. They also allow cars to park outside but you do not need to worry it is completely safe based from my experience.
There is no roof, which is common nowadays. Even in malls where we come to spend our money, we still end up paying for parking even if there is no roof. Motorcycles can also park there and there is a small space allocated for them.
It is run by Adelo Development Corp.. If you checked out the parking rate on the first photo, I think you’ll find that it’s not bad considering how close it is located. Did I mention that it is just few steps away from the church? Yes, that’s how close it is. You can also park there if you’re going to Raon. If you’re are going to Quiapo to buy Bicycle parts, there is another parking space which is located on the other side of the road which is directly located in front of Quiapo church but the entrance of this parking space is very hard to find because there is a construction going on beside it. I will write about that in another time.

Most of the time, whenever we are going to Quiapo we always commute using LRT because it’s hard to park somewhere there. Good thing, you came up with this post. Such a helpful one. 🙂

I have not been to Quiapo in a loooong time. My Mom goes there a lot but she brings a driver – because well, parking problems. This is helpful though. It’s good to know that there’s decent parking in the area.

I usually go to Quiapo for my accessories supplier and though I drive, I don’t like taking the car to Quiapo just to avoid stress – not only with the parking but also the worry of car theft or at least its parts. But this post is still very helpful for me in case I really need to take the car. This is more helpful for those who has businesses and needs to buy their supplies in bulk in Quiapo.

Very helpful! I’ve heard the place is too crowded and it’s really hard to bring a car. Is it true that Quiapo is a dangerous place?
Thanks for sharing this! I’ll send this link to relatives 🙂

This place is much better as you can get a more secure spot for your car and it’s near Quiapo, church.

Since I don’t have wheels, no problem to go in Quiapo. Also, since there are a lot of people in the area, we don’t usually go there but it’s great that you found a good parking lot near the church.

I only went to Quiapo once and bought a souvenir of black Nazarene. Not sure if I’m right. The other sellers are so desperate to sell that they bugged use when we went there. Helpful post!

Good day.. Helpful post but may I ask if I will be coming from Manila City Hall how to go here in Adelo development Corp parking
Alvin Adarne says
Hi Ping,
Thanks for reading my post. If you’re going to Quiapo and you’re coming from the Manila city hall: after the intersection before Manila city hall take the right side of the road going to SM Manila. Just keep on going straight and you’ll see SM manila at the right and Manila city hall at the left. Go straight at the intersection, follow the LRT lane at the end of the road then turn right. That will lead you to a bridge. Take the bridge and after that you’ll see Quiapo church at the left. Just keep on going straight. Unfortunately there is no U turn near Quiapo church coming from the south. Take the underpass. Do not make a U turn at the first stop light, it’s a No U turn intersection. Take a U turn on the 2nd Stop light after the intersection, the one infront of shell. Then just back track to where you came from you should find Quiapo church at your right side this time, stay on the right side of the road and do not take the bridge. You would soon see a vacant lot thats the parking space run by Adelo on your right side. Sometimes it will be covered by vehicles and vendors so be on the look out so you’d not to miss it.
